Through the Division of Research and Extension, Egerton University conducts basic and demand-driven research that seeks to generate new knowledge, technologies and innovations that enhance social and economic development within and outside Kenya. Research in the Division is aligned to Kenya’s national policies, priorities and market needs.

The Journal publishes original research papers, critical reviews, case studies and short communication derived from biological, environmental, medical, physical, veterinary, agricultural, architectural, computer, information technology and engineering sciences.
